WTF is up with my clutch? Need HELP!

For a couple months I have been adding fluid to my clutch reservoir. It keeps going somewhere. Recently the clutch has been sticking to the floor on start-up and on the street sometimes. I have to reach down and grab that mother to get my clutch back. Now it has started making a weird noise when I first depress it till I get it all the way down, but it doesn't make noise when its fully engaged or disengaged, only when being depressed or released. Plus it is pulsating now when the clutch pedal is traveling. It also makes a weird "errrr" when I slip the clutch to take off in first. Anybody know what is causing this and how to fix it?

It has a RAM clutch, and it doesn't slip at all, but I think it still has the crappy 98-00 stock hydraulics. I am going to upgrade to the 02 master and slave and do the drill mod. I know the slave is redesigned, but if it is the same master in the 99 vs. the 02, then I will just keep it, unless it has blown a seal or sumthin.

Maybe it has air in the line, cause I know with brake hydraulics that can be irritating and disastrous. The reservoir has been empty a couple times.

I think it is the throwout (or release) bearing. I hear it chattering while it is running, and when I depress the clutch it goes away.

sounds like a blown slave. check the clutch when you do. make sure its not worn unevenly.

I am in the process of putting the P&P heads on it, and while I got it up I am gonna take the tranny out and look at the entire clutch assembly. I will be replacing and upgrading to an 02 master and slave, and drill mod it.

My new question is whether or not I should replace the pilot and throwout bearings while I got it apart?

Depending on its condition you may want to, but its cheap, renting the tool isnt too expensive, might as well.

I agree. Do you think the stock 02 master will be fine, or should I upgrade to an adjustable aftermarket piece? They are about the same price.

its up to you. i like the adjustability of mine, but either one is fine. The Ram adj. does NOT come with a new line though.

Can I re-use the old one, or do I need to buy a new line from GM? How much will they run you?

my release bearing had worn a groove on itself, making it have a catch, and my slave cylinder needed to be bled atleast 5 times

How come they never had a recall on that problem. SHIT i almost got killed one day when the damn clutch peddel got stuck in first gear with oncoming traffic. How do we notify nhtsa. This should be a recall issue,IT'S DANGEROUS.

The slave came with the bearing. I have not gotten the tranny out yet. I have to get to those top bolts holding the tranny in. I got all the other sh*t off though. I need to take a day off work so I can knock it out. Something tells me I am not going to bleed it properly though.
