Will a Mustang T-56 work on my 00Z28?

I have a T-56 out of a mustang that I recently rebuilt. Wondering if it would work and what all would be needed to swap it in my 00Z28.

Sorry for the stupid question I am a newb to the LS1 and tried searching but apparently wasn't typing in the right thing lol

It can work with modification. If you have the an old Fcar T56 to swap parts with its mostly labor. If you have to buy conversion parts you would be better off selling the one you have and buying the right one.
The parts would include
Input gear
bell
front adapter
rear extension housing
speedo drive/tone wheel
speed pick up
top shift rail
shifter
This assumes what you have is an 03/04 Mustang Terminator 2.66LGR unit
If what you have is a 2.97 LGR aftermarket mustang T56 there are a few more parts needed.
