will a 06 z06 t56 work on my 99 z28

I found a guy selling a 2006 z06 transmission with 17,000 miles on it in mint condition for $600 since mine needs to be rebuilt i would like know know it this will work in my car please get back to me asap

I thought they were mounted in the rear?

Regardless, may be something to check into on the vette forums as far as input shafts/output shafts and such

Sorry I can't be of more help, but so long as the two are fine, and you can a bellhousing bolted up, I don't see why the other dimensions would be any different. May also encounter a problem with the driveshaft if the dimensions are different tho. Things that I don't know tho, sorry

Dont the corvette have a longer input shaft? and are set up differently. Set up differently in a way meaning where they "actually" shift the gear?
