    Transmission mount

Hey just needed an answer on this. I installed a polyurathane transmission mount and it is a little bigger than the stock one that was broken. I had to jack the transmission up to get the crossmember to bolt up to the floor. Will this affect anything as far as driveability or what haven't had a chance to drive it yet because of the weather. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Steve

Did you buy the prothane or the energy suspension brand? If its the energy suspension dont use the plate that it comes with and grind off the rubber bumps.

I put the Prothane on mine with no problems at all. Everything went back together quite nicely!

I installed the energy suspension and no problems, just the stiffness takes a getting use to.I plan on doing the motor mounts in the future as well.

I got the motor mounts sitting on a shelf in my garage. I figure when I go to put the headers on would be a good time to do it.
