Exclamation Textralia triple no power to the wheels

I bought a barely used triple disk(250 miles), new gm slave and a tick master and had my tuner shop install it and now they are not getting any power to the wheels.

It did not come with install instructions, is there anything that we need to be looking for?

Anything you guys can think of please let me know.

    Thanks

My guess is that the slave cylinder is not shimmed properly.

There is probably wear on your used flywheel.

LOL I am currently only at 650 RWHP, but big stroker, trans, and rear are coming soon. Then I can turn up the boost and see where it goes from there.

damn not to shab. Yea I would do some research and find out what people are doing to make them work. I know there are twin disc clutches that are good for 1000hp. But Tex clutches are amazing from what I hear.

I got a killer deal from another member here and couldnt pass it up. Its overkill for now but is supposed to have great pedal feel. i will let you guys know as soon as we are able to get the power to the wheels and I can get some miles on it.

That looks like a pretty nice set-up. I've never really heard anything bad about Textralia.

According to Tick, the Text clutches rarely need shimmed. I dunno.

You may also want to check the hydraulics. Make sure the reservoir is completely full. Being low just a little could f things up. Air in the line could also cause issues.

This is usually releasing engagement though I thought as the spring is what applies the pressure to the flywheel from the pressure plate.

Well I finally got ahold of Textralia earlier today and they stated that they usually sell their triple disk clutch with a modified slave. I spent the last couple of weeks trying to find out this info, I called tex and was not able to reach anyone so I left voicemails, called of their distributors and none of their tech support or sales reps seemed to know that I needed a modified slave.

Let this be a lesson to anyone who buys a triple disk "YOU NEED TO HAVE THE SLAVE THAT COMES WITH THE TEX TRIPLE DISK, OR YOU CAN BUY ONE AND MAIL IT TO TEXTRALIA AND THEY CAN MACHINE IT FOR YOU"

Thanks guys for all of the helpful info.
