    T56 wont go into 3rd or 4th

I just got done replacing my clutch, flywheel, slave and master cylinder. I put it all back together, bled the clutch and took it for a test drive and it wont go into 3rd or 4th gear. Before i replaced everything it would shift into every gear but getting into any gear was a little rough. Now it goes smoothly into 1st, shifts smoothly into 2nd, 5th and 6th but just grinds in 3 or 4. When sitting still it goes into every gear smoothly. What might causing this? Thanks for any help.

Well I am thinking it is synchronizer keys also. Usually grinding and hard getting it into or out of gear is indicative of that.

Could also be loose bellhousing bolts causing a input shaft misalignment. Other possiblities for misalignment could be a cracked bellhousing or missing dowel pins.

I've also read over on tech that when someone else installed a new clutch that a part of the clutch broke and was lodged, causing the clutch to not properly disengage. Also, I've read something about bolts coming loose causing the same issue. Kind of sounds like something along the lines of what Cutlass has stated. I don't know if what I wrote has any merit here, but non-the-less.

I'll re-tighten all the bolts and see if it helps. If i had 3 and 4 before i replaced my worn out clutch and i dont now, i must have done somthing wrong. thanks for the help.
