T56 Trans
I am wanting to convert my 2000 Ta Auto to a manual. The T56 used 93-97 for LT1 and the 98-02 LS1, are they the same. I am aware the bellhousing is different but are the transmissions the same?
Thanks

input shafts are different. The front plate is different also. It doesn't have a provision for the concentric slave cylinder used on the LS1. If you wanna use a LT1 T56 on an LS1, you'll have to convert the stuff over.
