t56 swap in pick up

i have an 05 4.8 with the 5 speed and i want to put in a 6 speed from a camaro. Any one have information on the swap. i was wondering about the shifter location, speedometer hook up, input shaft. any info would be great

It should bolt up, not sure how the 5-speed is set up, so you'd need to make sure that the master cylinder can use the same hole in the fire wall. Can't comment on shifter location, but it should be close....And on then speedometer, I believe its electronic like other late models, so at the least, a tuner should be able to get it set right

hey lithium, let me know if you want to get rid of that 5 speed, I might need one b/c the 6 is expensive lol
