T56 Short Stick.. does it hit console?

i'm interested in the T56 short stick... i was wondering if it made the shifter hit the dash or console anywhere? i have the stock shifting assembly with a hurst black cue knob on it...

It shouldn't. Mine does get close to the back of the console in 4th & 6th.

I have Hurst billet w/ LSS and Hurst ball knob on top and it doesn't hit anything.

yeah but you guys who say it gets close... do you have the hurst classic ball like me or the stocker?

the aftermarket one doesnt really apply cuz mines stock..

my friends z28 hits the damn console in a lot of gears and its just stupid.. doesnt have the short stick but i want to make sure this setup wouldnt.
