    T-56 magnum

    i'm in the process of doing a LS3 swap, im going to throw the T-56 back in but i was wondering if a T-56 magnum from a 2010 maro would fit? also the tranny cooler that comes stock with it, has anyone done this or have any advice on it?

    A manual transmission would not need a tranny cooler. Auto trannys only use them. I'm not sure about the mounting, someone else will have to direct you there.

    I understand the the new T56 equipped Camaros are equipped with a trans cooler. It might be a cool mod for a 4th gen although I'm wondering if it would be really necessary.

    I was unaware of this. I'll have to look into that. I wouldn't see a need for one on a fourth gen t-56, as the trannys do not experience the same kind of temperatures as an automatic. I don't think it would benefit, plus the extra work to pressurize and circulate the fluid, machine the case for the fittings, ect.....

    the 5th Gen's absolutely have a tranny cooler on the M6's.....

    i agree that the tranny cooler would be over kill for our cars, i am lookng into swapping the 5th gen M6 into my car. i believe its a TR-6060, but once you swap the tail housing it becomes a T-56 MAGNUM....
