swap the t56 or not
hey guys,new here with my first question. i got a 94 z28 with almost 140k on it and i was thinking of swapping in an ls1. my question is what changes did the t56 receive over the years. mine has been replaced so can i reuse mine or do i need a newer model? thanks

use the one you got.if anything rebuild it if its hella worn...not much of a change dont think..goodluck

thanks. so you think it will bolt right up? i thought i read something about an adapter before but i couldnt remember

There is conversion required: input gear, front adapter & bell.

You will also have to convert the entire clutch release system.
