Suggestions on slave cylinder issues.

I've have searched and read stuff til I'm blue in the face, so I just wanted to ask a few questions to reaffirm what may be the issue.

I replaced the clutch and flywheel recently, but not the slave cylinder. Just dumb forgot to buy one. So I drove it around with barely no pedal until I could buy a new one. But one issue was....could not put it in 4th gear at high rpm's.

So now this past weekend, slave was replaced, I have a nice pedal feel, but the car still shudders when I let the clutch out in 1st, I absolutely postively cannot find Reverse (fine before, never had that problem). And now I can't put it into 4th at low rpm's, only high rpm's. It shifts nice and perfect except for 4th and not "finding" reverse. Ialso bought a new tranny mount this go around.

Any suggestions on what we did wrong. I'm thinking the synchro is out for 4th, or on its way out. But reverse? Crazy. I put the shifter back in right (its a Pro 5.0) AND the damn check engine light came on after all this. May run to Autozone at lunch and have them check that.

4th and reverse problems possiblly point to a pilot bearing problem or another bellhousing, trans, and engine alignment issue. Are all the bellhousing and trans bolts tight? are the dowel pins in place? Is the bellhousing cracked?
