    Stock Driveshaft??

    Working on the install with the 9" and I am bolting up the stock driveshaft. Converted it to a 1350 yoke. Am I good or do a need a better driveshaft??

    i went with a better one. i got the 3.5" PST one. you can keep the stock one if you want. just replace the u-joint.

    Okay how long will it hold up?

    BTW its a heads/cam 6-speed car.

    so is mine it should hold up well for a while. quite a few people are still running the stocker with no issues...or very few

    If it's the aluminum one, ditch it fast! I ripped mine in half at the track.

    Its aluminum I have a driveshaft loop so maybe will be okay if it breaks. Jackson Powertrain told me they could get me a steel driveshaft with 1350 yokes on each end for $190.
