Slave or just air in the hydraulics.

X2. Several guys with M6's in the car club I belong to have experienced this.

You could try having the clutch bled, if that don't work then I'd just replace the slave. Doing the drill mod while bleeding the clutch wouldn't hurt either.

Is your fluid in your resivior black? If it is I would look into replacing the master cylinder first. Well actually I would bleed the system first. Then the master then the slave. The slave is inside the tranny so the whole tranny would have to come out to replace it.

    Master Cyl

I had the exact same problem and it took replacing the Clutch Master Cylinder to fix. No amount of bleeding or fluid replacement worked for me.

i still have the same prob...i changed my master. fixed it for a day or two and back to the same thing. so i took it to a shop to see if they could maybe bleed it better than i did with a vacuum or somthing but still not working and they wanted to change the master that i had just changed. so now its in a diffrent shop and i told them just give it back when its fixed.
