    sticky clutch

    has anyone ever experianced this. my clutch pedal will get stuck almost all the way against the floor and ill have to get my foot underneath it to bring it back up, pump it a couple of times then it will be fine. it happnes quite often for me. any body know

    what is the slave cylinder and is it bad or do i just need to do something to it?

    You could try having the clutch bled, if that don't work then I'd just replace the slave. Doing the drill mod while bleeding the clutch wouldn't hurt either.

    Is your fluid in your resivior black? If it is I would look into replacing the master cylinder first. Well actually I would bleed the system first. Then the master then the slave. The slave is inside the tranny so the whole tranny would have to come out to replace it.

    I had the exact same problem and it took replacing the Clutch Master Cylinder to fix. No amount of bleeding or fluid replacement worked for me.
    2000 Z28 M6, SLP Lid, SLP Bellows, SLP UD,
    P&P Maf, TB By-Pass, PS Shorties, LS6 Intake, FAST 78mm TB, Hooker CB, Hurst Billet, Front Tower Brace, small 218/218....527/527....114 cam.

    i still have the same prob...i changed my master. fixed it for a day or two and back to the same thing. so i took it to a shop to see if they could maybe bleed it better than i did with a vacuum or somthing but still not working and they wanted to change the master that i had just changed. so now its in a diffrent shop and i told them just give it back when its fixed.

    well thats going to be me, my clutch actually went out on sat night,so im going to get a new clutch and hopefully they know how fix the other probs, besides the burnt clutch now.there goes a grand or so, they tell me about 500 just for the labor for a clutch install
