Welcome to LS1.com!! It sound like you have a bad master or slave cylinder.

Have you checked your hydrolic fluid?

Sounds like a hydraulic problem.
And please, remove the bold, italic font and write with regular font. Thanks!
Oh, and welcome to the site!

well i checked the "clutch fluid" and it was just a tad low, put some DOT3 brake fluid, hand pumped the clutch a few times and it gripped. However, after a few blocks, it started to get stuck again...BTW, i changed the font hahahah.... WTF do i do now?

Prob a leaking Slave cylinder. If your loosing fluids thats a sign of a leak. If pedal was going dead an no loss of fluid, usually the clutch fluid overheating and causing the pedal to stick. Seems like you have a leak.

I've had a slave go out in two of my camaros, one didn't visibly show a leak, and the other just left a drop or two once in awhile....since it's not a cycling system, and just a little fluid shifts back and forth, it only takes a little leak to screw it up

You could try bleding your clutch.
You could start with the master cylinder if you can do that yourself. Otherwise its best to replace the master and slave together. And if you're doing the master and slave, then you might as well do the clutch at the same time.

WWWOOWW., thanks but that too far for me to tow my ride. some local shop here is trying to charge me like 4 grand just for a complete cam swap! they can kiss my ass with all that noise.

You can do about 3 engine swaps for 4K
Cam should be in the ballpark of around $500 I think.

your incentive to replace the parts might depend on the mileage on them. it's probably good idea to get the whole kit-n-kaboodle done at one time, while everything is taken down... i'm having this exact thing done right now - getting new clutch (flywheel, disk, pressure plate), new slave cyl, new master cyl, new throwout bearing, ... oh, and i'm having new fluid put in the tranny!
unfortunately this is costing me a lot of $$$ but, it should be good insurance against murphy's law for a long time.

Sell the Spec before you install it and buy a good clutch.
