    a slight concern

    I own a 1998 ss with the 6 speec t-56. when i enter say, third gear, and give it half throttle ( going about 35) the car goes up in the rpm's and then goes back down once it catches..........what could be the problem? clutch?>

    If it does it in all the gears then I would say the clutch.

    Yup Ild be concerned about the clutch. Gears in the manual don't slip.

    its a spec stage 3 clutch. car doesnt slip in 1st, and barely does it in 2nd.

    did you just change the clutch or did you put in a new pressure plate as well
