    Problems after pro 5.0 install

I thought the install went smoothly but now i'm having some issues.

It likes to pop out of 2nd and 4th i took it all apart and there seems to be plenty of room between the stop bolt when its in those gears.

Also my gas tank is now reading full even though i had less than 3/4's before the install and it hasn't gone down since going up.

Also i have a hurst ball shift knob with the gears numbered. On the stock stick you could get it snug and it was tight enough so once you got the numbers lined up it wasn't too loose. On lou's short stick its either fully tight or loose there's no room to play with. If i line the numbers up its way to loose if i go tight i can't get it to go any tighter to come back around and have the number right side up.

Be sure the plastic socket in the trans tha receives rge shifter is in good condition ans glued in place. This part loose can interfere with a full shift. if thats ok , you have the stops incorrectly adjusted.

Yep, sounds like the stops are set up wrong.

I took everything apart and put it back together, all is fine with the shifting now. And i used a bunch of teflon tape on the threads so my knob doesn't have to be fully tight to stay tight enought where it won't turn when the numbers are lined up.

The gas guage is still messed up though. When i fill my tank and do city driving it would go past full and after about fourt miles it would come back down to the f. Now it doesn't come back down to the F until like 80 miles and then after that the gauge drops really fast. Don't know what happened but something definately changed on the fuel reading.
