Problem with new clutch install, need help
Hey this is my first post...and a frustrating one at that. Just installed a brand new SPEC stage 2+ clutch, upgraded slave cylinder, and flywheel in my Z last week. After hours of bleeding the system, it finally properly shifts. Whenever I'm engaging first gear and let off the clutch pedal, my car shudders almost as bad as I do. But as soon as it's fully engaged, it's fine and all the other gears have no problem. Also when I'm driving down the road, more noticeable at highway speeds, the car makes a noise like a spinning metal disk barely touching a stationary object. Could that be the clutch not fully engaging? Might the fix be simple like changing out the master cylinder or could it be the tranny itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is killing me.
