Pro 5.0 question

I just installed my Pro 5.0 and love it.

I ended up purchasing mine used and the previous owner cut 3/4" off the thread. I was wondering if anyone knows if it would be better to buy Lou's Short Stick or WS6 store Short Stick to replace the shaft.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

get lou's, it works best w/pro 5.0....or speed inc. bent stick.

I got ws6/stores stick, it works fine, i just bent it to the left a lil, its design'd for the stock shifter--it hits the right side of the boot w/pro 5.0 if you dont bend it.

Thats weird, because I have a Pro 5.0 with the WS6 short stick, and it doesn't rub or hit the console no matter what gear I'm in

You are't the first person to mention that though, I can't see why it would hit on some cars but not others, interesting.

I didn't think stock stick/Pro 5.0 sticks were interchangable.

I had the WS6/Pro 5.0 and didnt like it. First gear was where 3rd used to be. I went to a UMI SS and that changed the problem.

Basically 1st gear is almost in the center, and 6th gear is offset to the right. With the stock angled stick, 1st gear is offset to the left and 6th gear is in the center pretty much. Changing it didn't bother me any, just moved the pattern slightly more to the right.
