    popping out of gear....

    my 2nd gear either pops out of gear or it wont go into gear.......witch ever it feels like doing lol this happens 80% of the time

    i haven't looked into it more BUT what would it be??


    all other gears are fine...

    could also be a bent shift fork but the doesn't happen very often with the 1-2 shift fork. Could also be the shift fork pads worn off or a shifter problem. Basically its either a bad synchro problem or the synchro isn't be shifted all the way into gear (ie bent fork, worn fork pads, shifter problem).
    What kind of shifter do you have?

    i was thinking that BUT if that was the case wouldnt it do it all the time?

    yes...but sometimes things aren't as black and white as you'd expect. IDK, its worth a shot. Otherwise, yes there is something wrong inside the transmission.

    that is true...i guess ill look into it when i get done with door locks and rad level sender thingy lol

    if its the trans i have no choice but to seen it to tick seeing as no one trust anyone around town to rebuild these t56
