    Shift Handle

My SS came w/Hurst shifter and I installed a Hurst aluminum pistol grip handle. Love the handle but now am looking for a shorter stick since handle makes the whole thing taller. No pics yet.

i had a dildo shifter (because it looked like a dildo so i named it, but in actuality it looked like the head of a driver), i had a tiny leather wrapped knob, i had the hurst T handle, and now i have the outrageously overpriced (not for me though, shout out to Ryan) slp/hurst leather wrapped shift knob. i have grown fond of the hurst one i have, but i REALLY liked the T handle and was suprised how quickly my hand got accustomed to it. as far as nostalgic, i would go with a white hurst que ball shift knob, which will probably be my next move. its a nice piece and i think it sets off the interior. but this is coming from a guy who thinks rubber chevy floor mats are "show car worthy". but thats how i roll.

btw, if you really want to be throw back, im afraid short throw shifter and nostalgia dont really go together. more like a 2 foot long piece of steel would give you that vintage feel.

here is a pic of my shifter, it's not the greatest, but it gets the point across...

HURST Competition Plus Shifter. these are hard to find. i had one that i sold with my old 95 z28 Camaro. they feel so nice and feels so much better than the factory hurst/short stick version i had installed before this...

again my bad with the pic taken in a parking garage with my phone...
