I have a 99 LS1 Trans Am, with the T56 6 speed. I replaced the clutch and all internals about 25,000 miles ago, and here within the last few days, I have noticed a lot of rattling when I push in the clutch and hold it. It goes away after I lift the clutch in any gear, and the thing still hits every gear perfectly. I was told by a local guy that it will need a full tranny overhaul, and thats gonna run me about $1500!!! After I just spent 1100 on parts, and another 600 in labor to install the last set, I really dont want to go through it again...Any ideas about what might be causing this noise?
