I don't have any experience with them so I'll refrain from saying yes to AL. Hopefully someone else does. In general, as long as you install the clutch properly and have a good, working hydraulic system in place, you should be fine.

Well I'm going tick master n a new slave.....and monster seems to have a complete kit so that's where I'm at...

I've been reading more about the aluminum/lightweight flywheels. At least in some racing series like rally racing, they use a heavier steel flywheel instead of the lightweight stuff. With thier studies, it absolutely helps them since they have a lot of launches. Other types of racing where there is minimal starts, they use the lightweight flywheels. That tells me for street/dragstrip use, use the heavier flywheel. I guess I got good advice from RPM transmission to steer me away from the aluminum unit.
