    new clutch

i put a new clutch in my car had the flywheel resurfaced and have bled the clutch on two seperate occasions and the clutch is all the way on the floor and shifts hard? the shop that resurfaced the flywheel said it should be ok without a shim. i suspect that it needs a shim i know the clutch is not disengaging all the way because when i rev it up it will crep forward. any other ideas?

I suspect a shim behind the flywheel or a shim behind the slave cylinder would fix your problem. If you know how much they machined off the flywheel then start with that size shim.

Either that or replace the flywheel.

GM states in the service manual not to resurface the flywheel for this reason, only replace it. This is true with basically any clutch system that uses a concentric slave, since it changes the overall height of the clutch and therefore the engagement point in the pedal.

You could try to shim it, but for all the work of taking it back out I would just put a new flywheel on.
