I thought the tex was good for up to 700hp/lb.ft. You burned it up with 435??? I got the LS7, but haven't done any track runs yet. It certainly feels like stock. It took a couple of weeks for the breakin where it wasn't grabbing right at the floor.

I was told it was good for 600 rwhp. I think I was slipping it more like a stock clutch and did it more harm then good. Expensive lesson learned. I will go back to one when I do decide to put more power to the car. I have the LS7 in now, wow what a light feel to it.

I read back when I got my LS7 clutch that the Tex clutch was the closest to stock feel with lots of power handling. I think I'm with you on getting that one when the power requires it. I'm pretty sure I'll have worn out the LS7 clutch by that time anyway thanks to a new mortgage!

yes, when I got the tex it was light as a feather. I remember getting in the car and wondering if they forgot to put the clutch in the car. I almost stomped the pedal through the floor.
