Need T56 trans mount. Where to buy?

I have a 98 M6 camaro and the transmission mount is toast. I refuse to go to the dealer too. I can only find automatic mounts at the parts stores, why is this? I have a 79 malibu with a mild 355 and it has an energy suspension trans mount that worked on 3 different trannys! What is so F-ING different about a 6 speed mount that I can't find one? Any help is appreciated.

They dont make the 1le mount anymore. Its not a 6 speed mount only. I do believe 98-99 cars had them stock on all ls1 applications. I broke my stock l1e mount in half and then bought a "regular" replacement. Broke it in half right after the install.

The "automatic" one you speak of will work just fine. Just not as strong as the 1le mount

I bought a universal poly mount for TH350 trans, fit perfectly and way stronger, never broke the poly mount after several hundred passes. Cost about $20 from JEGS.

I had a gut feeling that a th350 mount might work. Thanks to GM for keeping it simple.
