    Need help!!! Trans blew up

I don't know anything about transmissions or gearboxes, so if anyone could give me there input or advice it is greatly appreciated. I had a reworked T56-6 speed that was not rated for the 750RWHP that the car has and I was told this when I bought it. I need to get something that will handle the HP.

You are gonna have to shop around the web, our sponsors, or look for a shop in your area to find out what build will help you keep the power to the rear wheels without being laid up. Did the trans exactly "blow up" or is it grinding while shifting? Clutch pedal sticking to the floor?

It blew up BAD sounded awful parts breaking, parts hitting the ground. The only thing done so far is a visual while on the lift and they said that there is a hole in the side of the trans.

What I'm thinking also. Be thankful the shrapnel didn't go into the car and hit you OP.

That should do fine. Add a nice dual disc clutch and a sfi bellhousing and you should be good to go. If you blew a hole in your trans you would need a new case. Buying that on complete you dont need your case.

    T-56 transmission

I am almost in the same boat, but they have the Viper T-56 that is rated for 800 - 1000 hp. I am only pushing 475 hp, but a new 411 rear-end showed up the wear on my 5th and 6th gear. What are you doing to get 750 hp?
