Need Help on Clutch Problems - everything new

Just replaced clutch, pressure plate, fly wheel, slave in my 98 Camaro Z28 and car rolls across the floor with clutch pedal to the floor and trying to put into gear. Replaced Master Cylinder tonight and same results. Did the conventinal bleeding then Mity Vac. Did I miss a wire or something or maybe got a bad slave? Used all GM parts, bathed in a lot of dot 3. Please help, it's time to drive.

Do you have pressure at the pedal? Can you get it into gear?

What clutch? Is a spacer for the slave cylinder needed?

Pedal feels good, can't get it into gear. Car starts across floor when trying to put into any gear. Used GM stock clutch kit and GM Slave. From what i have read, slave is a direct replacement no shim necessary.

Well it sounds like either a spacing issue or a mis-alignment issue to me.

I would have someone depress the clutch pedal and have yourself crawl under there and make sure everything is engaging properly.

    Some info I found online:

    RELEASE PROBLEMS

If the clutch does not release completely when the clutch pedal is fully depressed, the disc will continue to turn the input shaft. This may prevent the driver from shifting the transmission from neutral into gear, cause grinding when the gears are changed, or cause the engine to stall when coming to a stop.

A clutch that won't release may have a misadjusted linkage, a broken or stretched release cable, a leaky or defective slave or master clutch cylinder, air in the hydraulic line or cylinders, corroded, damaged or improperly lubricated input shaft splines, a worn pilot bearing/bushing, a worn bearing retainer, bent or worn release fork or pivot ball, bent clutch drive straps, bent or distorted clutch disc, a clutch disc that was installed backwards, or mismatched clutch components (if the clutch was just replaced).

air in the hydraulics can also cause the clutch to not fully release.

Do you have the hrdraulic line attached to the slave? You cant rely on the audible clicking sound, you have to pull on it to verify it is attached.

Hyd line is attached. Bled whole system again last night using JPN8801's method using hose from bleeder to reservoir with no luck then Mity Vac (no bubbles). Pumped clutch pedal many times to fill slave. No change. Thinking about drilling a 1" diameter peep hole in bottom of bell housing to see what is going on in there before pulling the tranny again. Clutch pedal still feels great.
