    My trans am needs help

I have a 01 ws6 m6, and a couple of days ago I stared to notice that I would have to rev it almost to 4000 rpms to get to even move. Now yesterday it wouldn't even move it would just rev when u put it in gear. Any sugestions of what it could be.

Does it run and rev fine in neutral? What tranny do you have?

I too think it would be clutch related. Sounds like you need a new clutch or something isnt working properly and the clutch isnt engaging.

We did an LS7 clutch when mine went out at 87k miles and have been really happy with it. Not too bad on the price either..

Install is easy... Hell, I'll help ya do it. It takes bout 3 hrs. You'll need a clutch kit, and either a flywheel, or have to get yours surfaced (which means, pull it, take it to a shop, wait for them to turn it, then go put it back in so +3hrs)

How is the pressure on your clutch pedal, is it easy to push, any differance in the pressure when this started happening? It may be a slave or a master cylinder. Either way, it has probally ruined your clutch by now if you are revving it to 4000 to make it go. Lot of slippage. You said you dont smell burnt clutch? that is weird. You have checked the clutch fluid level right?

Icon Auto Sports installed it, but I think we bought it from Texas Speed and Performance.
