leaking fluid

I have a very slow leak. Transmission fluid dripping from where the drive shaft goes into the tranny. Any ideas of what it is and how to fix?

Sounds like the output shaft seal on the transmission.

I couldn't tell you exactly how to change it out, I've never changed one on a T56.

thats what I needed to know thanks. Oh should I not drive it in the mean time, it is incredibly slow leak at the moment is there any chance it starts dumping fluid?

Very unlikely. The seal is probably just worn out, causing fluid to seep past. The changes of it spontaneosly "blowing out" are very, very slim. Just keep and eye on the fluid and you should be fine.
