installed clutch master cylinder today..fixed prob
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say that the clicking /engagement problems and black clutch fluid (will find out if fixed as time goes on) have been solved. I was wondering if my master cylider was going out and sure enough the new one no longer click or has the rough engagement. Not too bad ..the stock lasted me 107K miles.
An install tip, that no write up that I looked at mentioned, is to remove the exaust manifold airtube. It made reaching behind the brake booster much easier and the MC somewhat visible and acessable. I did not have much trouble putting the U bolt back into place.
Thanks for all the input.. my clutch set up should be good for a while now. Hopefully this will fix the 300 mile clutch fluid cooking.Last edited by JehalinTA; 06-25-2009 at 02:05 PM.
