    1999 camaro Z28

    hydraulics problems only in F-Body???

    Hi all

    i sold my Z28 M6,,a fun car but the main problem the clutch hydrauics that kill half the fun.

    is this problems only in the LS1 F body?

    whats about GTOs ,C5 Vettes,and others?? i want a stick shift GM sport car without this headache.

    My thoughts may be somewhat bias because I grew up driving mechanical linkage and still prefer that over anything else.
    That being said, I would tend to say yes to some degree. I've had nothing but issues with hydraulic clutches as well, even in our current 4th gen. My biggest gripe is no factory built in adjustability.
    I went with an adjustable master cylinder to cure some of that problem, but it hasn't been a "cure all". I've done other tricks like the drill mod, the updated slave cylinder etc...

    My experience, keep the fluid changed and bled regularly, and it gives you a long trouble free life span for normal day in and day out type of driving.
    Get aggressive with it however and the issues arrise.
