    Exclamation Help! Clutch loosing fluid

I want to get a second, third and maybe a forth opinion on this. Long story short went to the gas station, parked the car, got back in and clutch pedal stuck to the floor. Nurse it home and notice i have almost no fluid. I jack up the car and see that I am loosing A LOT of fluid around my master ( I have a hole drilled in the bottom of my bell housing for access) and it was completely wet with dot III. I checked the bleeder to ensure it was tight and it is. I am thinking I need a new master. Before I finish tearin the whole thing out any ideas?

im a little confused. you say its the master but then you're talking about the bellhousing. the master is bolted to the firewall and the pedal. the slave cylinder is inside the bell and thats what sounds like its leaking. the seals have probably gotten old and blown out... you can go to autozone and pick up a new one, dont get the cheap chinese one, they have one for about 70 bucks that is the same as the oem one. look for the mark AP cast into the top your oem one will have the same marking.

and if it's leaking as bad as you say a new clutch too. That much fluid gets on the pressure plate and clutch pad won't rub off.

it will take a good burn on the clutch plate to get it off, i have never replaced a clutch because it got fluid on it.
