    I am confused maybe. If you are talking about a Camaro, the clutch is hydraulic. There is no clutch cable.

    You must be talking about the hydraulic clutch line. You need to push the white collar all the way into the fitting for the line to release. they make a release tool for this but alot of people get away with using a couple small screw drivers to push the collar evenly in.
