Grindind gears at Redline
every time i redline the car in 1st gear and shift in 2nd i grind (scratch) the gears can any one tell me why this happens. and no i am not shifting to fast

Sounds like it's time to have the tranny redone. I've had several vehicles with manual transmissions start doing this...They all lived very hard lives. Every time it was worn out synchros. I let it get too bad one time and wound up having to replace several other parts.

what do you mean get the tranny redone. the whole thing or the clutch. and what are synchros can i just replace those just a little confused here

its from your clutch...but that sound is the syncro grinding onthe blocker rings...
