Good Rebuild Kit?? Stronger kit??
I have a T-56 Six Speed out of a 95 Z28 in my car, and I am going to be having the entire drivetrain out so I might as well give the transmission a rebuild because it has 120k on it. I was wondering if there is a rebuilt kit that anyone can reccomend?? Or maybe a kit that I can put in it that will be stronger? I am going to be turboing the car soon so it will have probably near 400hp. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks!
I was also curious if it would be worth it for me to install a short throw shifter on it??...thanks.

Look up Tick Performance. I'd give you a link, but I don't think they're a sponsor here.
They have three tranny rebuild packages. Stock, street/strip (good for 500-600hp and feels stock), and a 700+hp drag package.
Prices are fair, and they're right down the road from me. Havn't gotten any negative feedback from them so far.
And yeah, short shifters help a lot. Takes all of 10 minutes to get used to, and you'll be able to shift twice as fast (and hopefully miss 3rd half as much)
