    Gear selection HELP!!

i ordered a richmond 4.10 gear and pinion set and now have found out that in order to install it i need to do more mods...forget that! the guy from summit told me that "superior axle gears" makes a 4.10 specifically for a 2002 t.a. as i look around here i see lots of people talking about Motive, SLP and GM gears and now i'm freakin confused on what to go with! i already ate 180 bucks on the richmond and dont wanna make that mistake again...please HELP!

I've got an 02 SS M6 that I had Motive 4.10's installed. I talked to a tech guy before I bought them just to make sure Igot the right set. They are a little noisy @ 50 mph but otherwise I love them.

gearing depends on what you want to do with the car... what r ur future plans?

4.10s is pretty much the popular choice.
