Clutch/Tranny Vibrates Then Slips
What's up. I would appreciate some opinions on whether my problem is the clutch or the tranny. Long story short, if I engage any gear with too much throttle, I hear/feel a jack-hammering type noise, then I hear the sweet sound of high RPM's with no vehicle movement. Also, if I'm in gear and decide to open up the throttle, I get the same result. But if I drive normal, only first gear slips, everything else operates normal. I can still spin my tires in first, but it's pretty weak.

Constant-mesh countershaft transmissions do not "slip" . If you break a gear, they stop transmitting torque. They do not fix themselves and carry torque again. You have a clutch problem.
