Clutch Replacement

My friend and I plan on replacing my clutch with the LS7 clutch kit along with a new slave and pilot bearing over the Thanksgiving weekend. Since I will be doing this away from home, I am trying to be as prepared as I can.

I am asking for advice and opinions on what I need to have for the replacement. For example, tools, parts, fluids, etc. Is there a specific alignment tool? Will I need loctite for any bolts? Any specialty tools? I know I need several feet in extensions and have them. Car will be lifted so jack and stands shouldn't be necessary. I am open to any advice and tips as well.

I am just trying make sure that when I get there, nothing stops me from finishing. Otherwise, I may have to find another way home!!! Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Hi, when i replaced my clutch, i used a Chilton manual for reference. There are detailed diagrams and torque settings. It helped me alot. Make sure u support the tranny!!!
