List your car mods and intended use (ie street or track) and we can make a clutch recommendation for you

You are a good candidate for the LS7 clutch kit. More holding power but stockish pedal effort!!

wheres the best place to buy clutches at?? I'm staying away form the stock feel (LS7) and anything stock (LS1). Would like to get a aftermarket stage 1 or 2, i want to stay away from spec heard they blow, plus my buddy had a spec clutch on his dodge stealth and it wouldnt grab right even brand new.

I'd stick with what's proven to work. A clutch is one place where I wouldn't skimp. Look for Mcleod, Textrailia, or Ram products from sponsors here or on LS1tech. I've had a Mcleod single disc kevlar clutch in for about 38,000 miles or so, lots of 6,000+ on slicks, never a problem. I've read a little about Monster clutches too but am unsure about them.

yeah i have a spec 3+ which is a "good clutch from spec" and i hate it with a passion. i have been posting all over forums here telling people not to buy it i have so many problems with it. it wont disengage and chatters. it seems to hold power fine but they are just pieces of shit. This is friendly advice DONT BUY A SPEC CLUTCH

After toasting two Specs and fighting with them. I will never buy another one. I put in the LS7 and never had another problem. If you buy a Spec and it has issues get ready for the it wasn't installed properly, it wasn't broken in properly, you don't drive correctly reasons for their clutches and flywheels being junk. Funny of all the racing clutches and flywheels I've had over the last 24 years the only one I ever had a problem with was Spec.
