    clutch problem?

I have an SS with 6 speed and now when I get into 4th 5th or 6th gear and i floor it you can watch the tach go up about 2000 rpm's then come back down 2000 rpm's and then you will feel the car finally start accelerating. Does that sound like a clutch going out?

you need a new clutch, it would be a good idea to replace the master cylinder and slave cylinder, when they ask you for your year at the dealer ship say 02. and i would use an ls7 for your application, scoggin dickey is a great place to pick a clutch up good luck
