    Clutch pedal return spring

Sorry guys if this call for help seem odd. I've been trying to find a replacement clutch pedal return spring. I live up here in the cold arctic of Canada (Toronto). GM Canada tells me the part # is discontinued and I have to by the entire pedals. But even that has to be shipped up from the U.S. Has anyone replaced one (return spring) recently and where did you get from? I'm sure shipping a spring is still cheaper than buying the entire pedal assembly.

One end of the pig tail on the spring broke and now it rubbers up against the pedal housing. I've removed it and am driving with out it, but I would like to replace it. I figure the design team at GM must have thought there's a reason to have one.

What you need to find is someone who's installed a Tick Master Cyl. They suggest you take out the spring. I looked and couldn't find mine, but I'm sure someone has one around here somewhere.

I've been spring free for a while now. It broke one day and did seem to bother the feel of the pedal so I didn't even look for a replacement
