Clutch help!!!

SO i bought this 99 ss with 92k on odometer last month. has slp long tubes, spec stage 3 clutch aluminum flyweel borla exhaust and some cosmetic upgrades. The guy I bought it from says he had the clutch only for 8000 miles. Since I had it I have to shift in higher rpms, like when I start in 1st I have to almost raise it to its maximum height and it wants to die on me. When I go up hills, the car stutters like it doesnt have enough power. When I get on the freeway and want to punch it I throw it in 5th or 6th and it stutters. Is this my clutch telling me its time for a new 1? Or is this something else? I hear spec clutches or not reliable is this true? I had a stage 2 centerforce in my last maro (98 ss) and it was close to perfect. If it is the clutch, which route should I take stock ls1, ls6, ls7, or aftermarket? What are the pros and cons of each?? Thanks for help!!!

Sounds more like a bad tune or no tune to me. Would start there.

Doesn't sound like your clutch is the problem here, more like your motor/tune.
