clutch going out

hey i know my clutch is going out but if try to shift at 6000 rpm i don't get it in the nexct gear and my clutch sticks !! a want to order the ls7 package but i hear a lot of bad stuff about the aluminum flywheel can i still get the kit without the aluminum flywheel? and do i need to do the slave en master cilinder to is that a lot more work?? thanks my car is at 40.000 miles now is this normal

Is your clutch actually slipping? If it's not going into gear and the pedal is sticking or falling to the floor you most likely have a slave or MC issue not clutch.

Maybe i have to replace every sometimes getting it in to different gears is getting my clutch after driving it hard is smelling and its really hard to get it in reverse grt barry
