    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

aluminum fly: revs faster at startup
steel fly: stays spinning longer between shifts

get a spec 3 if you're talking track use.

I Went Through Two Spec Stage 3's In A Year. I Now Use A Specs Stage 5 And It Is Perfect For The Street And Track. My Car Put 396 Hp To The Wheels On A Mustang Dyno, So I Thought The Stage 3 Would Have Done The Trick But I Guess Not. I Dont Think The Aluminum Flywheel Is Worth The$$$$

Steel's the way to go, 'cuz the extra spinning weight will give you the edge off the line at the dragstrip.

Unless you run autocross a lot, then you'll want a lighter flywheel, but I've heard one horror story too many about aluminum separating and cutting off feet and toes at 7500 rpm.

everyone is gonna say spec 3 ok....i went that route and will never again recommend it. its saw the track 3 times and 7k of daily driving and was down to the rivets. it chattered like hell!!! Now i got the RAM pg hd with the billet flywheel and couldnt be happier!! its a great combo. I got it for 650 from TSP.
