Clunk when shifting
Problem corrected.
Replaced transmission fluid. DO NOT USE GM SYNCROMESH TRANSMISSION FLUID. It will not work in the T-56.Last edited by schurke; 04-09-2008 at 06:42 PM.

SOM- 99 Trans Am
Ive got the same problem but mine only happens when you really get on it in it from a slow roll or dead stop. Check the piece that mounts from your y pipe to torque arm on the tailshaft. Mine is bent is pretty good i have a feeling thats lettting some stuff move.
