Clunk when shifting

This is a discussion on Clunk when shifting within the Manual Transmission forums, part of the Drivetrain category; Problem corrected. Replaced transmission fluid. DO NOT USE GM SYNCROMESH TRANSMISSION FLUID. It will not work in the T-56....

    Unhappy Clunk when shifting

    Problem corrected.
    Replaced transmission fluid. DO NOT USE GM SYNCROMESH TRANSMISSION FLUID. It will not work in the T-56.

    Ive got the same problem but mine only happens when you really get on it in it from a slow roll or dead stop. Check the piece that mounts from your y pipe to torque arm on the tailshaft. Mine is bent is pretty good i have a feeling thats lettting some stuff move.
