When i shift gears i get a clunk out of the rear. Only happens when i shift tho, no whine while driving or accelerating or anything. Any ideas?

I have been told this is normal. With RWD vehicles, there is some "slop" or "play" in the driveshaft's U-joints.

If its a clunk it could be from the rear like youve said but i would also check your tranny mount. If its cracked or broken it will definitly clunk everytime you shift

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
Check for worn bushings or loose bolts. Can be the tranny mount or possibly the torque arm bushing.
