choosing the right flywheel
the time has come to replace my clutch,i have already decided to go with the monster kit that comes with the tick master cyl and a choice between a 28lb billet steel and a 18lb lightweight billet flywheel.i want to make the right choice of flywheel and have researched this and what im finding isnt really helping me decide so im going to try here. here is the basics of my car: '01 ws6 H/C/I, 470RWHP,the car is more of a weekend driver than a dd and it does see track time occasionally,i do drive it hard sometimes on the street, i have read that the lighter flywheel will make the car harder to drive around on the streets and also loose some 60 foot at the track but it revs faster, but ive also read that some people dont have those issues with it,i dont want to have to rev high or ride the clutch at every traffic light and dont need anymore stalling issues than i already have with the cam,i have read mixed reviews on this, some love the lightweight and others dont, and its making it hard for me to choose,so given my mods and how i drive the car would it be better to get the lightweight billet or the billet steel?

Really it comes down to what kinda clutch are you using. For example I just recently talk to Monster and their clutches will not work well with stock flywheels. Depending on what level they can even break the stock FW.
Best thing to do is match them as a whole unit and torque output.

Get the steel one that's heavier if it works for your application. It will take a lot more abuse.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.
