    Changing Shifter..

I'm going to swap out my stock shifter for either a B&M or Pro 5.0.

Is this a big job and/or does anyone have any advice or instructions for doing so?

    thanks

    no...

you'll have to remove your console (easy) and then the 8? bolts around the rubber shifter boot... then the 4 bolts on the shifter it self... then reversed order for install... it's easy and will take probably about 1.5 - 2 hours at the most...

Are there any fine adjustments to be made on the new shifter? Or is it more or less plug and play?

If you get the pro 5.0 you need to adjust the 2 shift stop bolts, but that is easy. Hardest thing is getting the e-brake handle up to remove the console. Just poke the lever under the handle with a screwdriver and it'll come up.

that part was easy for me since my e-brake is way out of adjustment...

As everyone else said, install is basic, all you really have to do is remove the two center console pieces.

Make sure you use RTV (black is good) between the shifter plate and the transmission when you install the shifter as well.

Go with the Pro 5.0, its an excellent shifter
